AAV Production and Purification

The PVM platform offers Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) vector production using a so-called “helper-free” system, derived from human AAV2.
Various serotypes are available for AAV pseudotyping, with the serotype choice determined by the target cells and/or organs of the project.

Services Offered

The basic service includes:

• the production of viral particles by triple transfection in 293T cells,
• the purification and concentration of AAVs,
• the vector titration by qPCR.

Several production scales are offered, depending on experimental needs and the chosen serotype.

Items to Be Provided by the User

Users must provide:

• the AAV plasmid containing the genetic material to be transferred (quantity depends on the chosen production scale),
• the plasmid map,
• the completed production request form.
